Job Description: As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET),you will work with the development and testing teams to further grow and enhance our automation test coverage. Our SDETs are passionate about product quality test tools, test processes and product features and ensuring the right test strategy is built into the business to deliver quality services to our customers. It will be the Software Test Engineer's responsibility to develop and enhance test automation frameworks and tools and explore new test automation tools/methods. Job Responsibilities Utilize Visual Studio Test Suite, JavaScript, Java, C; SQL, Unix/ Linux and Test:Driven Development to develop and enhance test automation frameworks and tools. Programmatically test the product, measure test coverage, drive testability and diagnostic ability into the product, while promoting best practices in quality areas. Work in an agile software development environment. Identify real:world user problems and build technology solutions to solve them. Expose broad defects in production level code as well as defects at the component and feature integration prospective. Apply best practices for professional software development including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. Provide coaching and mentoring for team members. Assume additional responsibility without being asked. Required Skills: 6+ years of relevant experience Expert Knowledge of QA Methodologies; ability to understand technical specifications and analyze log files, experience in designing and building test tools and systems. Ability to communicate professionally with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs. Strong leadership qualities including excellent judgment, relentlessly high standards, can dive deep and remain in touch with business details, drives innovation in their teams, invokes passion in others, can think big, and delivers results. Proven experience in testing with a creative edge, strong problem:solving skills and a solid software development foundation. A complete understanding of lean and agile methods of software delivery.
