JOBSUMMARY
Provide engineering expertise for the successful support and continuous improvement of the plant's existing and new manufacturing processes, packaging, utilities and material handling and control systems to produce frozen bakery products at the lowest cost. Provide the leadership, coaching, training and technical assistance to employees, especially technical, maintenance and supervisory. Champions plant wide technical change and continuous manufacturing systems improvement. Engineers regulatory and safety compliance into all aspects of the manufacturing and facility operations. A key member of the plant technical leadership team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

:
Provide project management/project engineering in support of all capital and manufacturing projects.
:
Provide input for the preparation and manage implementation, start:up, training and the successful closing of the annual capital budget and/or specific projects.
:
Keep abreast of new technologies and applications in order to make recommendations and successfully implement as approved for the continuous improvement of the manufacturing processes and equipment.
:
Oversees the application and maintenance of the manufacturing control systems and intrumentation to ensure that the system's integrity and security are maintained.
:
Engineer safety and environment protection into all projects ensuring regulartory compliance.
:
Assists in the development and administration of the manufacturing, capital and utilities annual expense budgets.
:
Support and monitor the operation of plant utilities to include; ammonia refrigeration, compressed air, power distribution, and boiler sytems, ensuring the uninterrupted supply to manufacturing within budgetary guidelines.
:
Provide leadership as a Subject Matter Expert in regards to safety in the designated area of responsibility.
:
Provide continuous technical training and assistance to personnel at all levels of the organization so that skill levels increase, thus providing the tools for empowerment and ownership of the business to ensure that the facility meets the goals established for new and existing products and processes.

Provide cross:functional support and interface with Manufacturing, Financial Services, Customer Services, Human Resources, R and D/QA, outside vendors and contractors to maintain operational efficiency.
POSITIONQUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum:
:
3 to 5 years experience in Engineering and Project Management
:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Field
Preferred:
:
Master's Degree in Engineering Field
:
Engineering and Project Management in a food manufacturing environment
:
Environmental and OSHA experience
:
Experience in Ammonia RefrigerationLANGUAGE AND TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:/h4:

Understand and use good engineering practices in projects and everyday applications.

Ability to troubleshoot various problems in daily operations and projects during construction and implementation.
